It's time for a trophy cabinet!

Continuing our run of prizes, Circomedia’s St Paul’s site has won a prestigious Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors award in the Community Benefit category.

After winning the South West regional heats, the church was put forward for the national awards held in London in October.  Circomedia’s Helen Crocker, along with Crispin Truman, the CEO of the Churches Conservation Trust and Jonathan Graham, a rigging specialist involved with the redevelopment of the church into a circus centre, all attended the ceremony where the award was presented by Channel 4’s Kevin McCloud.

This is the fourth major prize that the church has won in the two years since it opened in its new incarnation, joining the Europa Nostra award for cultural heritage and “best re-use of a building” from the Georgian Group.
