Chair of Board of Trustees
Circomedia is looking for a new Chair for its Board of Trustees, as part of a programme of planned succession and expansion. Circomedia is a leading centre for physical performance and circus training - based in Bristol and operating from two sites, including a multiple award-winning church conversion - with a regional, national and international reputation. With an exciting development plan, including the establishment of a new Foundation Degree and an ever - expanding programme of events and activities, the Board is looking to appoint someone with vision, enthusiasm and passion for excellence in the arts. Teaching Positions:
These part time posts are being offered as a result of Circomedia upgrading the level of its teaching as we move to a two year Foundation Degree.
Acrobatics Lead Tutor
To co-ordinate and deliver the teaching of acrobatic techniques in performance these techniques may include acrobatic balancing (adagio), springs and flips (tempo), tumbling, Chinese Pole, chair balancing, table sliding etc. For Job description see here
Lead Tutor for Fitness & Conditioning
To co-ordinate and deliver the fitness and conditioning programme
Circomedia has successfully used an approach based on Pilates for a number of years. Complimenting this programme the Lead Tutor will also be expected to lead on diet management and injury prevention. For job description see here
